Would she ever forgive him? Can he forgive himself?
As a Marine Raider Commanding Officer, Alex Wolf was haunted not only by what he did and saw, but by what he didn’t do. In one firefight, he’d lost both his best friends. Ty was killed by enemy fire. Katlin blamed him for not saving her husband.
When Katlin suddenly appears back in his life, Alex’s entire world turns upside down.
She is not the woman he remembers, either as Ty’s wife, or the woman he once loved in college. Now that destiny has thrown this woman into his arms, he can’t let her go, again. Can he convince her that they were meant for one another, and theirs is a love to last a lifetime?

This picture inspired me so many times while I wrote Unrelenting Love. As a military wife, I know several women who served for 20+ years and know their trials and tribulations from sexual harassment to separation anxiety. They are tough when they have to be, but underneath they are women with big hearts.
Meet Damnit, the Rottweiler mixed with English Labrador Katlin saved at the Miami pound.
“Hello, Kat.” Those two words, soft and seductive, hit her like a jet blast, searing and overpowering.
She wanted to run to him and have him hold her like he should have done when they buried Ty.
She wanted to smack the shit out him because he hadn’t been there when she needed him most.
She wanted to cry in his arms and have him comfort her.
She wanted to cut him to the core with her words and actions, making him hurt as much as he’d hurt her.
In the wave of reactions, Katlin realized that she had overwhelming emotions for the first time in three years. She felt…something…everything…as sensation poured into the void that had been left cold and empty far too long. Since the day they had stood in Arlington Cemetery and said goodbye to the man who had been best friend to both of them. The man she had loved, and trusted, longer than he had deserved.
She should have known Alejandro’s mere presence would do that to her. Standing casually before her was the only man who could infuriate her to violence one second and stir her passion to the edge of orgasm in the next.
Stunned by internal war, she stood there.
Speechless.
And naked.
